Privacy is important to me. How do you keep my information safe?

We feel the same way. Right from the start we don’t ask you for more private information than is absolutely necessary. You stay in control. For example, you can start a conversation with us with just a first name and a phone number or an email address – whatever feels easy and safest to you.

Just like even the biggest organisations we are not immune to online hacking, but we try to be safe. Any information we have is backed up to an encrypted local hard drive (not online) and also encrypted onto Google Drive.

If there is anything to pay, we ask for a direct deposit, so you never have to give us any financial information like credit card details.

Let us know at any time if there are other ways we can better respect your privacy.

It’s a not a problem, it’s just a shared challenge.

For a start, we keep costs as low as possible. We don’t charge anything for our time. If (and only if) we end up helping you with a solution, we will need to charge a fee to cover material and postage costs and to cover our admin overheads. Some small jobs cost just $5-$10 in total, plus unavoidable direct costs such as postage.

In any case, if you let us know that payment is a problem, we will try to help you be funded by NDIS or some other official means or to get someone to sponsor you. No promises, but we always seem to find a way to do it.

Where are you located?

Manex SNS is based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. However, we operate as much as possible online and are happy to help anyone anywhere.

Nope. We don’t limit who we can help. We will respond as best we can to any request, from anywhere, from anyone.

If you are overseas, speak a different language, or have trouble communicating, we’ll try hard to find ways to engage effectively with you.

If you work with us to find a solution, does that mean we are obliged to buy or use a Manex SNS product?

There are no contracts or other obligations unless we are doing something really big, expensive and long term. If that happens, we’ll make sure that you have independent advice and support before you commit to anything,

Especially for solutions that cannot easily be 3D printed, the best approach is often for us to start the process then hand completely over to someone local to you.

We give away all our IP. So if we develop something for you, you are free to take that information and use it with a different provider at any time. Just please keep us informed. Any new products or designs we develop will also be listed on our website and provided free to anyone who asks for them.
